August 2026 Bells Project faculty update: the Diocesan Advisory Committee has recommended that the faculty for the Bells Project be approved. The public notice period is now open and is your opportunity to formally raise any objections to the project with the Chancellor, who will make the final decision. Your letter/email must reach the Chancellor no later than Wednesday 2nd September. The Chancellor begins to consider the application from the start of the notice period, so we’d be grateful of your prompt responses to help prevent delays to the decision. The notice with full detail is displayed in the church porch and on the project display at the back of church and full details of the faculty application are by the project display for anyone to read.
