| Prayer Diary for March 2026 | |
| 1st | Loving Father we pray for your Church throughout the world. Strengthen all who seek You and the work of clergy as they guide and teach, expanding lives and vision. |
| 2nd | We come in gratitude praying for Jonathan, his ministry within the diocese, the community and the wider church. |
| 3rd | We pray for Heaton Churches Together and for outreach and unity of people of faith in the community of Heaton and the City of Newcastle as a City of Sanctuary. |
| 4th | Creator God may the wonder of Your starry universe remind us of the beauty of all you have created and of the part we play in out differences and sameness and the need for unity within your people. |
| 5th | Healing Lord protector of all, we pray for those whose work is hard or tedious and for all who work tirelessly for the care or wellbeing of others, naming those whom we know. |
| 6th | We pray for all deprived of work and for all who feel life has little meaning or direction. Guide them Lord, grant them confidence and knowledge of Your presence. |
| 7th | For the vision, wisdom and collaborative skills of conservationists, scientists and leaders tasked with finding solutions to the devastation caused by Climate Change. |
| 8th | Lord for whom nothing is impossible we pray for justice, peace and equality in all the broken places of the world – naming those for whom we have the greatest concern |
| 9th | We pray for leaders carrying the burden of power and influence. May they be seekers of truth, freedom and justice for all whom they strive to serve with humility and honesty. |
| 10th | Lord be with all suffering from the consequences of conflict, abuse, poverty or famine. Especially we bring to You the people of Sudan, Ukraine, Nigeria and Ethiopia. Lord in Your mercy, hear our prayer. |
| 11th | We bring to You, Lord the issues which most concern us – may we respond to our own individual concern with action. May we be “Your hands and Your feet” Lord. |
| 12th | When we face the temptation of inaction strengthen our resolve Lord to embrace difficult decisions with courage. |
| 13th | May we recognise our responsibility as role models within our families and community. |
| 14th | Bless Lord all who respond to the issues of poverty, homelessness, loneliness or cruelty. We pray especially for agencies who we know for… |
| 15th | May we daily grow in faith Lord. We give thanks for all who have nurtured us and on this Mothers’ Day especially for mothers throughout the world and all they mean to us. |
| 16th | We come in gratitude, Lord for all whom we love and for the many kinds of love which enrich our lives emotionally, spiritually and practically. |
| 17th | St Patricks day. We give thanks for all the saints past and present, for their service to others, for their example throughout the ages |
| 18th | Grant to us the gifts of compassion and discernment and the strength to follow You. |
| 19th | Teach us Lord to respect others’ viewpoints – to listen, learn and respond with humility and wisdom. |
| 20th | We give thanks for the beauty of spring – for the hope it brings, for the awakening and growth, the light and warmth that bring joy. |
| 21st | Bless Lord all who experience loss – ,loss of independence, loss of home or loved ones, loss of health, loss of country or freedom. Grant to all hope, courage and strength Lord. |
| 22nd | “Teach me Lord the meaning of You laws” Psalm 119 V33-34. May we be ready always, Lord, to listen to Your voice in our hearts. |
| 23rd | Bless Loving Father, all who bring laughter and joy into our lives. May they know how much they are uplifting us. |
| 24th | Each day we become aware of the generosity of talented friends ready to share their abilities in service to others. |
| 25th | Thanks be to You Lord for the gift of sight. Grant that we may appreciate the beauty surrounding us in out green spaces, in the sea, the sky and the seasons. |
| 26th | Sharpen our awareness Lord of the fragility of petals, the delicacy of each “flower that opens, each bird that sings” and daily give thanks the “You made them all” |
| 27th | May we give thanks for life itself – for the many opportunities afforded to each of us and for the freedom we have to make a difference to the quality of lives of others. |
| 28th | We come in gratitude for each loved on in our lives. |
| 29th | Palm Sunday. As we embark on the journey towards the celebration of Easter, may we humbly give thanks for Your gift to us of Your son, His sacrifice and the promise of life eternal. |
| 30th | Holy Week – May this indeed be a precious and holy time for each of us Amen. |
| 31st | We come in gratitude and prayer that our lives may continue to be guided and blessed by God’s presence. Amen. |
